Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez is a step away from signing with Barcelona.

Rodriguez comes off contract at Betis this summer.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting : "Barcelona and Guido Rodriguez have verbal agreement in place since two weeks ago, approved by Xavi.

"To sign formal contracts, Bara have to wait for Financial Fair Play approval deal remains imminent, waiting for formal steps.

"Two year deal with option until 2027."
