Aston Villa left-back Lucas Digne interesting Nice

Aston Villa left-back Lucas Digne is considering a move to France this summer.

The attack-minded flier is likely to head back to his native country at this stage of his career.

Digne did play 31 times for Villa in all competitions this past season, but may be sold after the winter arrival of Alex Moreno.

Per Nice-Matin, OGC Nice are the club most likely to secure Digne's signature.

Whether they can afford the move depends entirely on the asking price Villa set for the player.

The Midlands club did pay 25 million for Digne and have him under contract until 2026.
