There are a lot of small, independent brands in skateboarding these days and it's pretty awesome to see. Each one has their own style and flair; their own approach to spots, videos, trick selection... and skating, just in general. And Carpet Company is no exception.

They just dropped their new video, BRAT, and it introduces Rashad Murray, Quinn Batley and Mason Padilla, with clips from Osama & Ayman Abdeldayem. It's a pretty unique video—again, they're doing things their way—but the skating speaks for itself. Check it out:

The little cut scene skits are hilarious and add a touch of personality to what I considered an already creative edit. Great skating, great vibes, solid squad—if you were a fan of Carpet already, this will really solidify that relationship. How's the soundtrack, too!? These dudes are having fun and it shows.

And whether they know it or not, they're (along with a handful of other fun, new brands) really influencing and inspiring a new generation of skaters to do exactly what they're doing. The energy is real. Nothing like a solid indie skate vid to get the day started.
